Chemical filter (AF-93) will hold additional carbon, ion exchange or other biological filter media. Removable chamber allows for easy media replacement and pre-rinsing. No channeling, 100% of water passes through media. Holds 7.3 oz. of pelletized carbon, providing over 273 million meters of surface area. Automatically vents air out of unit. Has a ¾" inlet and outlet. For tanks up to 100 gal. 14" x 7½" x 4¾". Made in China. Mechanical filter (AF-94) includes a 20 micron filter cartridge with an internal carbon chamber. Includes pressure gauge; manual air regulator eliminates unwanted trapped air. Replaceable pleat eliminates costly cartridge replacement. No channeling, 100% of water passes through pleats and media within internal chamber. Internal chamber holds 3 oz. of pelletized carbon, providing over 113 million meters of surface area.
